The Nations
At Etowah Church, we believe scripture is our guide for our activity and involvement, not only where our feet are, but also around the world where people need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" Acts 1:8. Our desire is to reach the nations by praying for and financially supporting those who are ministering to the nations of the world. We want to be a church that lives out Paul's words: "Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities" Philippians 4:15-16.

Romania 2023
In June of 2023, the missions team from Etowah Church flew to Romania to serve the Bruski's through Belief In Motion. While there, they served different villages and provided an interactive VBS for the children about Noah's Arc and God's promises. The missions team was also able to serve the elderly and disabled through a VBS and home visits. From watching a new follower in Christ get baptized in front of his non-believing family to the joy on each child's face as they received Christ-like love from our mission team, the eight days there were packed with God moving pieces. Thank you to those who supported the Romania Mission Trip this year through tangible donations, monetary giving, and prayers.
